At Purple Phoenix Games, we primarily deal in board game reviews and previews, but every so often we get the chance to check out gaming accessories. So when Rolyn Dice Limited reached out to us on TikTok, I was intrigued. They specialize in unique dice cases and quality dice bags, and their content looked awesome. Check it out!
I’ll start with the dice bags. The bags are not really the main element of Rolyn Dice, but they are beautifully made and excellent quality! I’m not entirely sure what the fabric is, but they are so smooth to the touch and feel great. The drawstring mechanism is super slick, and each bag even has a little dice case attached to the end of the string. The design on the bags is branded, and gives off a metallic sheen that makes it feel really fancy. And as someone who has too many dice, these dice bags are perfect for cramming all my loose dice into.
Now onto the dice cases. These cases are SLS printed, which is a type of 3D printing. With that in mind, they are surprisingly sturdy and don’t feel flimsy at all. The plastic is smooth, and the cases come in various branding designs, although the main elements are the same across all of the cases. The opening and closing mechanism is unique and smart, and it holds the dice in well. Some of the cases even have an added little ‘loop’ on the end so that you can attach it to a keychain and take your dice everywhere with you!
The cases come in all sorts of sizes, ranging from oversized dice to the smallest dice imaginable. Admittedly, the smaller the dice get, the trickier it is to manipulate them with the case – but that may just be that my big fingers can’t handle pieces that small! But for your standard sized dice, it’s super easy to open and close the cases, and put the dice in and take them out. The cases can also hold different numbers of dice, with some holding 5 dice and others holding just 2. So you can pick and choose which cases depending on how many dice you’ve got to store! At the moment, the cases can only accommodate d6’s, but I’m hoping in the future that Rolyn Dice Limited expands their cases to hold other kinds of dice as well! Many games rely solely on d6’s though, so with these cases you’ll never be without dice!

The overall quality of these dice cases and bags is beyond what I originally expected. I’m definitely a fan, and am eager to see how the Kickstarter goes.
